Cooking for the Homeless Working Group is an outreach activity done through Swarthmore Monthly Meeting’s Peace and Social Concerns Committee.  Meals are served at a shelter on the 69th Street - West Philadelphia border.  Currently we are serving about 150 people on the third Saturday night of each month.  Meal preparation happens on the third Saturday morning starting at 9:30 AM in the Meetinghouse kitchen.  Volunteers are welcome to come helpus prepare this meal each month.
