First Day School warmly invite all to the Meeting’s annual Bird Walk in Swarthmore College’s Crum Woods on Sunday, April 17. Please gather in front of the Meetinghouse at 7:15 AM for a 7:30 departure. Coffee and tea will be available from 7:15 AM. Dogs are welcome but will walk in a separate group from those who prefer dog-free bird watching, and (per Borough ordinance) must remain leashed and under control of their person. Those who prefer a shorter walk may wish to set a later start time with like-minded Friends. As is traditional, the bird walk will be followed by a lovingly cooked buffet breakfast starting at 8:45 AM for the entire meeting community. Our committee is small, so assistance with breakfast cleanup before Meeting for Worship is most welcome!
